Familiarity with the Bible can only come from actually reading the Bible. Read THIS POST with tips for beginning (or strengthening) a habit of Bible reading. It's from 2017, but the points have no expiration date.
Here are three resources to help you get into and continue in God's Word this year.
Faith Baptist Bible College One-Year Bible Reading Plan
Each year Faith Baptist Bible College has provided free reading plans to read the entire Bible in one year. We will have a quantity available at church for all who desire one. Or you can download and print your own by clicking on the logo above then clicking on the "Bible Reading Plan" link.
The Bible Recap (TBR)
Jill has thoroughly enjoyed following this podcast and used it to help her read through the entire Bible over the course of the last year. Click here: www.thebiblerecap.com/start for information on jumping in this year. If the podcast tech seems a little daunting for you, contact Jill at jillsuzi@gmail.com or 262-325-1987 and she'd be happy to tell you how she did it.
The 5-Day-Per-Week Reading Plan
This is the plan I will be using this year: www.fivedaybiblereading.com. Here's a post by Tim Challies that explains its benefits. One point that may recommend this plan for you is that, since it is a 5-day-per-week plan, if you don't start until Monday, you're not behind at all!
